To those loyal guildmates and ex-guildmates, I wish you all a Merry Christmas!

Once again, I have to inform you all that I will be sitting for my GCE 'O' Levels in 2008. To do my best and perform well for this crucial exam is very important to me as well as my parents. I will be very inactive in maple. I will definitely be back after about a 10 months hiatus. Though I may miss the action of most 4th job skills upgrade, I think I can afford to wait. After all, it will still be there after 10 months but my studies are a one-touch-and-go situation. Under these circumstances, I think the risk is too great to take.

So, if you are all my good friends, let me focus in my studies in 2008 and I will be back later part of the year. I know how to hunt you all down, don't worry!

Oct 6 : WarRider, WaiWaiWonka, zzrussozz, kokheong and HolyIvory with Int316 & JennPet, it was 1 successful owning of 1 arm and another successful owning of 2 arms LOL !!!!!!

Guildmates quit guild, guildmates re-join guild, blah blah blah. Well, its a very common scenario. I would rather have a handful of close and sincere guildmates THAN a whole bunch of dishonest & ungrateful craps !!!

To all juniors, when someone or anyone quitted guild without first informing me in BBS WITH VALID REASONS or whatsoever WILL NOT BE INVITED OR WELCOMED BACK INTO MASTERS. This is an order. It shall be enforced with immediate effect, DON'T PLAY PLAY !!! The main reason I will not be expanding MASTERS is solely due to the fact that I do not need bummers and too many duplicates of players in Guild thus making slots scarce. This is not a safe-house nor a sanctuary whereby one can simply come in and out of at their own freewill, e.g. ADSSIAN.

I understand also that MapleStory is getting hard to level up due primarily to mesos shortage. It is MS way of curbing easy levelling and promote more hunting as well as farming of mesos to level up instead of just chionging. So now that our Singapore exams are over, I shall be active and try to organise some hunting sessions, zakum 1-arm fights (when slots available) & GPQs to help guildmates farm mesos (from drops) and at the same time having guild bondings.

Any guildmates who would like to improve on this can also put forth their ideas in tagboard for me to review. I know timing to gather all is crucial but hope it could be done. Even without 2x, we can still have fun and level up at a comfortable pace. Let Gaming be fun not a chore nor a challenge especially when we are 1xx.

I would like to specially mention kokheong. He is resilient and never gives up when he was low on funds. He still find a way to meet guildmates to party. And I am also happy that some guildmates helped him by giving him pots when he was having his 'dry' runs. Special thanks to HolyIvory and Russ.

Dragon Forest
Leafre Dragon Forest : This red forest area has many high-leveled monsters such as Rextons, Dragon Turtles, and Cornians (Lizardmen). It is more dangerous than even Dead Mine since all of the monsters are level 90 and above. The area is in a lightning storm, with enormous dragon skeletons lying around. Giant thorns and roots meander across the screen. Rusty reddish trees and bushes grow in the ground. As one ventures out, large rock formations appear. Venturing through the Dragon turtles with their powerful attacks, both physical and magical, provide a serious roadblock to the average explorer.

Dragon Canyon
Leafre Dragon Canyon : Past the dragon forest, you can find an icy mountain area with some of the most powerful monsters in the game, such as the Red, Blue, and Dark Wyverns, Jr. Newtie, Nest Golem, Skelegon, and T-Skelosaurus, the latter two being weak to heal. There are some NPCs in cages, and also some other creatures in cages. At the top of the mountain, a cave entrance appears.

Cave of Life
At the end of Frozen Ice Fields lies the Cave of Life. Inside the Cave of Life is a party quest-like section of Leafre that includes a new composite boss monster called Horned Tail whose power is even greater than that of Zakum's.

A Red Dragon that resides in the Ice fields of Leafre. Since the color of the Dragon is red, it is obviously susceptible to ice attacks. It doesn't fly around, but instead stays on the floor. This dragon cannot jump, and moves fairly slow. This makes it easy to avoid. Since it's a fire dragon, the fireballs can go at a fast pace and it can shoot many at once. They respawn quickly and as many as 10 can appear on the same platform.

Last night to get some destressing from mugging so hard, went in to maple and helped Davidmage8 and kokheong to complete their Papulatus Quest.

Here is the ss before our 2nd fight but sadly we failed. Like HolyIvory said, "we are a little rusty" lol.

We shall await NiPiKU7's return in the middle of this month. The happiest person will be none other than kokheong, his g@y ????

Tomorrow will be day they will be removing Peach Blossom Island (PBI), all cash wedding packages together with Mushroom Miso Ramens (MMR).

To my guildmates, there are bad news regarding the buying n stock-up of MMR. It seems that Wizet may change the MMR to be untradeable and/or npc 1 mesos nia. So, it may be a big problem if some of us stock too many and it ended up as untradeable den become loss instead of profit liao. T_T

Blinkjet the mod said 'STOCK AT YOUR OWN RISK' becos they at AsiaSoft oso dono the final decision, DIAO!!

Fourth Job can be achieved when your character hits Level 120.You can advance into your 4th job by meeting your 4th Job Instructor in Leafre.

You will need to go through a series of obstacles and quests to make sure that you are ready for the next job advancement. After advancing to the next job, you will be given 2 main skills only. This 2 main skills are common skills found in every job.

They are "Maple Hero" and "Hero's Will". In order to get other skills, you have to complete Quests given by the various NPCs. You will then have to hunt various monsters to attain the skill and scrolls. The scrolls are to be used on the skill so that they can be activated for use.

As for other job who has the summoning skill, for example a Bishop's Summoning Dragon. You will have to "kill" your corresponding summoning partners in order to "capture" them and them as your summoning skill.

Fire ArchMages will need to kill Elquines, Ice ArchMages will need to kill Efreet, Bishop will need to kill Bahamut, Bow Master will need to kill Phoenix and Crossbow Master will need to kill Freezer.

I hope this will help my guildmates to understand a bit more on Amoria !!

Unlike Peach Blossom Island, it doesn't cost any money to get there, either Mesos or A-cash. Thomas Swift will take anyone there for free. Also, if you want to visit your friend's wedding, it won't cost YOU any money at all. If you want to go to your friend's wedding and when it starts, you are in Ludibrium, you can click on your invite and it will automatically take you to Amoria for free! Every wedding gets a certain amount of invitations for guests, so you can invite 30 people (for a chapel wedding) or 50 people (for a Cathedral wedding) to come along.

In Amoria, there is a Hair Salon. In Global, there is a quest in the Hair salon that will get you a free haircut, all you need to do is get 25 slime liquids. I don't know if this will be in SEA. Most of the hairs are Orange or Brown in color. There is also a skin salon, and plastic surgery.

Also, for people worried about the Christian weddings, there's the Cathedral with the Pope guy and the Nuns, but there's also the White Wedding Chapel where you get married Las Vegas style by Pelvis, which is not christian in any way. Additionally, if you want to get married, all you need is the ticket from the cash shop. you don't need to buy any wedding dresses or tuxedos at all. If you want to buy a Cash Shop wedding dress, though, you can. There's also Wedding dresses and Suits for sale from a Dress Shop for 100k mesos. They both come in 4 different colors. They're overalls, but sadly they don't have any slots for scrolls. There's also an after party if you get a premium wedding, where you and your guests can hunt for keys to get special prizes (Mushroom Miso Ramen is one of the prizes, scrolls are also possible.) and the Bride and Groom get extra prizes on top of that.

The rings for Amoria are special as well. There's 4 different types of rings, and in Global, they have slots for scrolls to be used on them (there are no ring scrolls yet.). The Gold and Silver wedding rings have 2 slots and 20 magic Defense, and the Moon and Star rings have 3 slots and 30 Magic Defense. Each ring has a different effect when the couple is together. They also say who you are married to on them. To get the rings, the Male of the couple needs to go through a few quests.

To get the ring, you need 4 Proofs of Love. You get these from Nana the fairy, who is located in Henesys, Perion, Ellinia, Kerning City, Orbis, and Ludibrium. Each of the Nana will ask you to gather a few ETC items from the nearby monsters.

Henesys: 50 Orange Mushroom Caps
Ellinia: 20 Soft Feathers
Perion: 40 Firewood
Kerning City: 40 Horned Mushroom Caps
Ludibrium: 30 Teddy Cotton
Orbis: 20 Jr. Sentinel Pieces

Once you've got the 4 proof of Love, you can forge your ring.

Each ring needs special Materials:
Moonstone Ring: 1 Moon Rock, 1 Diamond, 30k mesos
Star Gem Ring: 1 Star Rock, 1 Diamond, 20k mesos
Golden Heart: 1 Gold Plate, 1 Diamond, 10k mesos
Silver Swan: 1 Silver Plate, 1 Diamond, 5k mesos

So far, anyone can do this regardless of whether they have any A-cash or not. Once you have an engagement ring, you can propose to a girl character.
If you are doing a Cathedral wedding, the female will need to do quests as well. She needs to get 2 proof of love, in the same way that the Male did. Once this is done, she needs to take them to "Mom and Dad" NPC located at the map "Meet the Parents", which is accessible from Henesys Hunting Ground 2.

Once you're married, there's a couple of things you can do right off. In global, there is a quest which is only for married couples, and when it is completed, each of them get a potion called Gelt Chocolate that give +120 Weapon Attack. There is also the Amoria PQ which has been mentioned earlier, and soon there will also be a Jump Quest that's only for married people.
Don't worry if you don't want to get married, though. There's also several quests there that everyone can do. There is even a repeatable quest that gives decent prizes (5 ATT for 30 minute potions, or 3 diamonds).

AMORIA MAP

Coming out in 12 Sep, wa piang, after school hols leh! X_X

Amoria is a wedding town, a place where Maplers can get married. This area originated in GlobalMS, and follows the Western marriage system, contrasting the previous marriage system, Peach Blossom Island, that was based on Eastern style weddings. In ThailandMS and GlobalMS, Amoria is accessible via Thomas Swift of Henesys, or in KoreaMS, Hera the fairy, who is located in most towns.

There are two different styles of marriage, and also two different versions of each, at least for the Global and Thailand versions. A mapler can choose to have his wedding held in a traditional cathedral, wed by a high priest and receiving a blessing of experience from the guests. The other option, only available in ThailandMS and GlobalMS, is a quick Elvis hosted wedding in the Chapel, resembling a Las Vegas quick wedding chapel.

Both wedding types provide the couple with a total of 50 invitations for friends and guild members. Additional invites can be purchased from the cash shop, however the lag from 52 players in the same map usually precludes this option.

If the couple chooses a premium wedding, they receive an "afterparty", that works much like a Party Quest. They can then proceed to take pictures on a giant wedding cake, followed by some battles in the Untamed Hearts Hunting ground, taking out cakes and candles while hunting for keys. Once a player has 5 keys, they can proceed to the Love Piñata, where a present awaits them. Upon exiting this map, the guests and couple are returned to Amoria's town, and can receive the contents of the present by taking it to Pila Present, an NPC at the top of the map.

Also, there are a number of buildings in the town, notably a Hair Salon, Plastic surgery, and a wedding shop where Tuxedos and dresses can be purchased for mesos.
In addition to those located inside the town itself, there are some Amoria-related maps outside of the main town area.

The "Meet the Parents" map is used by the bride in a Cathedral wedding, and located above Henesys Hunting Ground II. There are many other NPCs, such as the various Nana fairies located in each of the main cities that are used in the quests leading up to marriage, and of course Thomas Swift who transports players to Amoria. These are not available in KoreaMS.

Amoria is one of the few areas with a significant backstory:

The story of Amoria begins with the story of Elias. Elias was a noble hunter whose love of battle knew no bounds. He fell in love with a maiden of striking beauty, Cecelia. She hoped he would one day realize her love went beyond the mere fleeting of arrows, but Elias continued to hunt on and ignore his wife. During one of his hunting trips, Cecelia was kidnapped by a group of monsters. When Elias returned and found his wife missing, he immediately set out after her, vanquishing any monsters in his wake with his might bow, axe, and powerful magic. Alas, he came upon the cave where his true love has been taken. He heard her voice cry out in terror, and immediately rushed in to find several Drakes prepared to feast on her. Elias defeated the monsters and carried his wife back to their house, but her wounds were too great for even his skill to heal. Saddened by the loss of his wife, he used the last bit of his magic in a sacrificial act and created a place that would allow others to experience the love he once had, and as a lesson to never take it for granted. Thus, the town of Amoria came to be.

Calling all guildmates ..............

NiPiKU7 requested for guild's help to do zakum's first Quest. So I would like to appoint PiKU to gather guildmates who is interested to do this quest at a convenient time for all.

It is much more practical to do it once and benefit more members as some guildmates may be having 2x experience and so on. Once it is done, we shall not be doing it over in the near future.

Again, tag at the board on timing. I think it is a better idea to tag here as anyone who is in school or at work, should still be able to access internet instead of MapleStory.

My exams last just 1 week. So I have tried my best to login to maple to whack some mobs.

I have made myself clear that there would not be any GPQ. Guildmates' disappointment showed but exams wad, can't help it. =/

Never mind la, everything should resume once the big E is over. Patience, guildmates, lmao!

Last Saturday, something uneventful happened! That incident made me fully aware of having and maintaining guild harmony is of utmost importance.

I have decided to cap the max member at 30 for the time being so as to build closer rapport with the existing members in guild now.

If you have not noticed, I have stopped uploading new members' pictures in blog until the new members recruited are found to be helpful, cooperative and friendly.

Whoever leaves this guild will no longer be invited back in. 7bTeen and ADSSIAN will be the last to be invited in as this rule has just been activated. I have taken a log of those joined and left.

So ALL JUNIOR MASTERS (JM), you shall be responsible for the behaviour of the people you invite in guild. Any requests from members will have to go to their respective JM who invited them. Also, please leave msg in BBS on members who left.

Check out the vast difference in stats of the zakum helm, lol. Helm 1 is the best to chiong for. Heard that once 4th job out, Helm2 and Helm3 also out -_-||

Anyone who wishes to have Helm1 has to +oil +oil level up to own zakum.

WooHooo !! The birth of a new pro guild " Masters". Masters was founded on 29th July 07 by VVarRider...which is non other than me~~ lol.. Hope to make this guild a cooperative, helpful and ks-free one. We can go fight big bosses as a guild!! GPQ, papulatus, pianus and SG boss are waiting to get owned man...
